Xela Rederm amber skin rejuvenation can be used at any age, by people with very delicate and atopic skin. The lowest concentration of the product is intended for the prevention of skin ageing and the elimination of signs of dull and hypoxic skin. Moisturises the skin, stimulates the growth of fibroblasts and improves skin elasticity and firmness.
The higher concentration of the product is used for comprehensive skin rejuvenation: it restores a healthy skin tone, brightens pigmentation spots, increases elasticity, improves skin tone and texture.
The highest concentration of the product intensively rejuvenates the skin, corrects wrinkles and restores the volume and firmness of the skin. It also eliminates acne scars and discolouration.
The cosmetic practitioner selects the appropriate concentration according to the patient’s needs. The effects are visible immediately after the treatment.
The best results can be achieved by performing mesotherapy treatments in series, with the number of treatments depending on the condition of the skin and the patient’s expectations. Before the treatment
- The treatment does not require any special preparations.
- The procedure will normally be preceded by an in-depth medical interview.
- Chemical peels and strong cosmetic products should not be used in the area where the treatment will be performed for a few days before the treatment
- You should not drink alcohol 48 hours before the procedure
- Avoid strong heating of the body before the treatment (solarium, saunas, direct sunlight)
After the treatment
- For 4 days, do not expose yourself to direct sunlight, or warm-up treatments.
- It is recommended to use SPF 50 sunscreen creams
- As with most of our cosmetic treatments, we recommend that you avoid vigorous exercise for 7 days following your procedure, we give up using the sauna, swimming pool, gyms, hot baths, solariums, and other places of a large group of people
- Chemical peels and strong cosmetic products should not be used in the area where the treatment will be performed for a few days after the treatment
- You should not drink alcohol for 24 hours
- Make-up should not be done for 48 hours to prevent infection
- It is important to strictly follow the rules of hygiene: dry your face with disposable towels, tone the skin, keep make-up brushes, and sponges clean, regularly change bath and hand towels, avoid touching your face, replace clean sheets for the post-treatment period.

What does the procedure look like?
The treatment consists of injecting the product using a traditional mesotherapy method.
There is minimal discomfort with mesotherapy treatments, however a topical anaesthetic cream can be applied to the face before treatment to reduce any possible discomfort. So, if your pain threshold is very low, please request this on arrival at the clinic.

What does it contain?
Sodium hyaluronate, succinic acid, sodium succinate, sodium chloride and water for injection.
Is a patch test required before treatment?
No. Patch test is not required for this treatment.
Is it temporary or permanent?
It is temporary, as hyaluronic acid is naturally metabolised by the body over time. The changes in the texture of the skin and the increased production of collagen and elastin produced by the treatment are also susceptible to the normal ageing process.
