How PRP Work?

Firmer, radiant, rejuvenated & more youthful appearance

At Bpermanent, we are thrilled to offer you the extraordinary PRP facial, renowned worldwide for its incredible results in skin rejuvenation.

Platelet-rich plasma finds applications across various medical fields. It is used in sports medicine for wound healing, in cardiology for surgeries and tissue regeneration, dermatology and widely used in aesthetic medicine for its anti-aging properties, including addressing male-pattern baldness.

Our own blood plasma contains platelets that are rich in powerful proteins and enzymes called growth factors. These natural elements have remarkable healing properties and can effectively promote the rejuvenation of damaged skin, including skin that has lost volume or become lax due to the natural aging process.

The process of PRP involves obtaining a small sample of blood from your arm, similar to a blood test. The blood is then spun in a centrifuge to separate the red blood cells from the plasma. The gel-like plasma, which is rich in platelets and growth factors, is then injected back into the skin. This stimulates collagen production and activates dormant cells, leading to tissue growth and revitalization of the skin. The result is a firmer, radiant, rejuvenated, and more youthful appearance.

Frequently
Asked
Questions

Improvement of skin texture and tone is noticeable within three weeks. Full collagen regeneration takes three months.

Yes, PRP treatments can be used on all skin types and colours.

We will assess the degree of skin ageing, conduct a basic skin analysis, and suggest a suitable treatment with realistic outcomes. Pre-treatment photographs will be taken.

Your skin will be cleansed and prepared, and if necessary, local anaesthetic cream will be applied. Blood will be drawn from your arm and collected in a test tube, which will then be centrifuged.

The Platelet Rich Plasma will be prepared and activated.

Using microneedling techniques the PRP is applied topically on the treated area. The remaining of PRP can be then injected into any obvious lines or wrinkles.

The treated areas may appear red on the day of the treatment and will gradually diminish over time. You can apply makeup starting from the next day.

Pain during PRP face treatment is minimal, as it involves only a few quick and easy injections.

Typically, patients may require two to three additional treatments to maintain the results, which can last for up to 18 months. For optimal outcomes, we recommend undergoing up to three treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart, with subsequent top-up treatments scheduled at intervals of 6-24 months. In the case of hair growth, treatments are usually recommended every three to four months.

Clients will typically experience immediate effects after undergoing PRP therapy, and over the next few weeks, collagen production will be stimulated, resulting in the generation of more healthy cells beneath the skin. It is during this time that the optimal results of the procedure are felt.

Platelet-rich plasma injections serve as an alternative to medications or surgery, making them an ideal choice for individuals who prefer a less invasive option or are unable to undergo surgery or tolerate pain medication. This treatment option offers a shorter recovery period and is generally less painful compared to surgery.

PRP stimulates the natural production of collagen in the skin, resulting in overall facial rejuvenation rather than targeting specific areas. On the other hand, hyaluronic acid fillers are composed of a solid material that fills lines and folds in the face. These fillers are typically used to soften deeper lines, such as those around the mouth, or to enhance the volume of the lips. The effects of hyaluronic acid fillers usually last between 6 to 18 months, and subsequent treatments are required to maintain the desired results.

PRP face treatment is particularly effective for adding volume to the face, reducing cheek indentations, improving the appearance of under-eye hollows, enhancing the overall tone, tightness, and texture of the skin, and filling in areas that may be difficult or unsafe to treat with hyaluronic acid fillers.

The burning question on everyone’s mind when they read about facial PRP skin rejuvenation treatment is always, “is it safe?”. Since the substance injected is made from your own blood, there is much less risk of complications, side effects or an allergic reaction. The PRP treatment for skin rejuvenation is not FDA or EU-approved purely because no drug or foreign substance is being injected. This procedure has been used in many different medical applications, so the equipment and applications are “cleared for use”. All of this should help you feel safe and secure.
